Erie County, New York:  No one reported the incident of gunshots being fired during a home invasion on Wallace Street Sunday Night.

Erie police were inquiring five individuals on Monday in an investigation for a reported home burglary involving weapons and gunshots at a residence.

No injury has been reported so far. Initially the incidence was reported as home-invasion robbery in the 2100 block of Wallace Street on Sunday at about 9:50 p.m., according to city police and Erie County 911.

The caller reported hearing six gunfire and officers who responded to this call recovered some shell casings, the police said.

The house where the home invasion occurred is currently being held as a crime scene on Monday morning as the police were making to serve a search warrant for it.
