Houston, TX – Large fire engulfed a southwest Houston house, this Monday afternoon.
The Fire Department responded to a call around 2:00 p.m. from the Marinette Drive residency. They reached the home within a few minutes. However, the firefighters had difficulty extinguishing the fire due to high winds.
“They had to battle with it for quite a long time,” informed Villasana, the District Chief with the Houston Fire Department.
Authorities have confirmed no one was found inside the house when the incident occurred. No deaths or injuries were reported as the homeowners were out of town for work.
Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
