Police investigation lead them to a standoff with two robbery suspects. It turned out later that none of the men were involved in the home invasion.

On-duty officers responded to a home invasion robbery in the 9000 block of Wurzbach around 3 a.m. this morning – the police report says.

A patrolling officer near apartment complex saw the two men who matched the description of the suspects. When the officer went nearby to talk, they ran off into an apartment in the 4400 block of Gardendale. The police set a circumference and contacted them via loudspeaker. One of the men came out of the apartment but the policed realized that the men were not involved in the home invasion. Although they did misbehaved with the patrolling officer and both the men were charged with evading arrest.
