Fire Safety Tips for the Homeowners and Families
Extinguish the Fire before you Sleep
Fire fighters say most of the overnight fires occur when homeowners go to sleep before their fire (heater/fireplace or any equipment) is extinguished.
Maintain Your Electric Equipment
Malfunctioning equipment can also cause electric fire. Make sure all your home appliances and other equipment are well-maintained.
Get a Smoke Detector
Smoke alarms are a must in winters. They are your life safety devices. If you don’t have a working smoke detector, your chances are 4 times higher to suffer from a fire. Install the smoke detectors on all levels and convert them into monitored smoke alarms using firefighter sensors. Make sure your house is armed using the best home monitoring system to get instant medical help in case of a fire emergency.
